Gaston is the love child of Pierre Baston and Pierre's dancing teacher Madelene. Despite the illicit relationship Pierre is very fond of Gaston and still visted and supported his mother until she died of typhoid 3 months ago. Gaston now has moved to Paris from Picardy to start making his own way in the world (albeit with small allowance from his father).
Gaston is a small dapper man in his early twenties. He is not a strong nor skilled in weapons but he is delicate and light on his feet. He has a precise, fastidious nature and likes things to be 'just-so'; comme-ca. He is particularly fond and adept at dancing; a passion and ability he learnt from his mother.
